5. AST Club ~Ag Machinery Lawn Display~ A display of Ag Equipment common to the Ag industry today provided by the AST Club.

6. Athletics ~Iowa State Athletic Department~ Stop by and get autographs from Cyclone athletes and win other athletics prizes. Fun for fans of all ages!

7. ATMAE/ASSE/SME ~ATMAE/ASSE/SME~ Industrial Technology and Safety booth showcasing robotics and fire safety trailer.

8. Biotechnology Outreach Education Center (BOEC) ~Biotechnology Outreach Education Center (BOEC)~ Celebrate the Office of Biotechnology's 25th Anniversary with a visit to the Biotechnology Outreach Education Center, 1320 Molecular Biology Building. Active displays allow visitors to extract DNA, play crime scene investigator (CSI), eat some DNA, and review the 25 years of ISU biotechnology history.

9. Block and Bridle ~VEISHEA Display~ ISU Block and Bridle VEISHEA, an informational display of livestock animals, information about the animals and different segments of the livestock industry.

10. Business Council ~ISU Face paint and Temp Tattoos~ Business Council will be giving away free ISU temporary tattoos and face-painting

11. CEGSO ~Chemical Engineering Graduate Student Organization~ CESGO is a chemical engineering graduate student organization which will be presenting posters about the cutting-edge research occurring within out department. Also to help teach basic chemical engineering principals we will have a children friendly hands-on learning experience.

12. Cherry Pies ~ Be part of the VEISHEA tradition and stop by to get your VEISHEA Cherry Pie.

13. College of Agriculture and Life Sciences ~ Activities will include interactive displays to highlight the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Agricultural and Life Sciences Student Council, and the Agricultural and Life Sciences Ambassadors.

14. College of Engineering ~ Cool stuff from the College of Engineering showcasing the best and the brightest side of campus.

15. College of HS ~College of Human Sciences~ The College of Human Sciences showcases college programs. Learn more about the TC fashion show, health and wellness, dance, money management, teacher education, and much more. Hands on activities.

16. College of Liberal Arts and Sciences ~LAS 50th Anniversary~ The 50th Anniversary of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences features a VEISHEA exhibit of exciting and interactive student displays from the college's many student clubs and organizations.

17. College of Veterinary Medicine ~College of Veterinary Medicine~ Our information booth on central campus will give you information about activities at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Come check out our petting zoo, dog show, painted cow, kids crafts, tour the college, and learn about veterinary medicine along the way!

18. CTLT/CI~21st Century Education ~Storytelling and video games~ Stop by for a fun and educational adventure. Check your musical skills playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero or your athletic skills playing the Wii. The children will also enjoy a quiet time at the "Storytelling Corner"

19. Culinary Science Club ~Culinary Science Club Fresh Popcorn and Cyseasonings~ Fresh popcorn with gourmet seasoning blends formulated by the culinary science club students available for purchase.

20. Cyclone Amateur Radio Club ~Cyclone Amateur Radio Club~ We will be making Ham Radio contacts with stations around the world with our solar powered radios as well as talking to people about radio and wireless communications.

21. Cyclone Yoga ~ Yogis and yoginis supporting each other in our yoga practices.

23. Dairy Science Club ~Ice Cream~ The Iowa State Diary Science Club will be selling homemade ice-cream in Kildee. The flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, Reese’s, Oreo, and Snickers.

24. VEISHEA IMAC ~ISU Dairy Science Club I Milked A Cow~ Come hand milk cow in the Kildee Pavilion and have your picture taken!

25. Dept. Of Agronomy ~I'm An Agronomist~ Healthy Soil, Healthy Plants, Healthy People. Explore how agronomists are improving the lives of our global society. Play in the soil, make a sweet soil treat, take the plant use quiz, and pick up your four leaf clover!

26. Dept. of Computer Science ~ The Department of Computer Science offers tours of the smart-home laboratory with technology demos and the ComSci Club invites you to a multi-player PONG game on the first floor of Atanasoff Hall.

27. Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology GSO ~ The EEOB Graduate Student Organization is selling native Iowa prairie plants to help fund our various activities. Come over and pick some up for you and your yard, garden, or other landscaping project.

28. Equestrian Club ~VEISHEA Pony Rides~ The Iowa State Equestrian Club is hosting horse rides out at the Iowa State Horse Barns just north of campus. A great experience for the young and old wanting an experience they are sure to remember.

29. Food Sciences Club ~ The Food Science Club will once again be selling fudge during VEISHEA! Buy it by the pound, half pound, or individually-choose from chocolate, chocolate mint, peanut butter, or Cyclone flavors!

30. Gaffer’s Guild ~Glassblowing Demonstrations~ Please come and enjoy live, free Glassblowing demonstrations!

31. Geology Club ~ Annual VEISHEA Rock Fossil and Gem Sale: Annual fundraising and outreach event wherein the club, in conjunction with GGSO and the Dept. of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences offer unique rocks, fossils, and jewelerquality gemstones to the public. We also offer hands-on educational experiences for children and exhibits for public enjoyment

32. Horticulture Club ~ The ISU Horticulture Club will be sponsoring children's activities and an "ask the expert" opportunity for anyone who has gardening or horticulture questions or curiosities.

33. Insect Zoo ~Bug-a-palooza~ The ISU Insect Zoo and Entomology Club present "Bug-a-palooza." Come view a wide array of exotic six and eight legged critters. You'll even be able to pet an African Millipede and hold hissing cockroaches from Madagascar.

34. International Food Fair ~ Come experience food from around the world excellently prepared by International Student Council.

35. ISU Dining ~Central Iowa Buy Fresh Buy Local~ Central Iowa Buy Fresh Buy Local is kicking off the Central Iowa chapter and membership drive at VEISHEA 2009! Local food producers, distributors, retailers, and consumers are invited to find out about the Buy Fresh Buy Local Campaign in Story County.

36. John Paul Jones Society ~ NROTC’s open house showcasing our unit. The NROTC drill team will also be performing twice throughout the day.

37. LGBTA Alliance ~ ISU Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Alliance’s mission is to educate the community of Ames and provide a safe space for the LGBT community and their allies.

38. Library ~ Memories In The Making at the University Library: please stop by the Parks Library to view our VEISHEA display, take a self guided tour of the extensive art collection including Grant Wood’s largest murals, relive memories of time spent at the University Library, see changes throughout the building and learn how current students are utilizing library collection and services.

39. Material Advantage Demonstrations ~ Material Advantage will be performing demonstrations that illustrate the basics of materials engineering. Come watch us play with fire, destroy things, and eat frozen marshmallows!

40. Medieval Recreationist Club ~ Recreating the Middle Ages as they should have been.

41. MEGSO (The Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Organization) is about networking ME graduate students and providing opportunities for academic growth while having fun.

42. NREM ~Go Blue With NREM~ Go Blue! You can't go green without blue! Join NREM students as we focus on water conservation. Enjoy our displays and take part in natural resource activities. Readings of Dr. Seuss’s “The Lorax” will take place in our Seuss-land inside the tent at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2:30pm.

46. Rodeo Club ~ ISU Rodeo Club is a group of students and faculty interested in the ultimate sport of rodeo. We have a booth and games to test out your skills to see if you have what it takes.

Seed Science Center ~ Come walk in the footsteps of George Washington Carver as the Seed Science Center and BIGMAP take you on a historical journey through the life of this world-renowned educator, researcher, and the first African American faculty member on the ISU campus. View a variety of seeds and discover how they grow, taste, and smell! Learn how seed scientists at Iowa State do their part to help provide quality seeds to feed the world.

49. Society of Automotive Engineers ~ The ISU Society of Automotive Engineer’s Formula car and Baja car will be on display.

50. Society of Women Engineers ~ Make your own gak! We have the materials for you to make your very own bag of gak.

51. Solar Decathlon ~Solar Decathlon Mock up~ The Solar Decathlon Team's building mock up and step-by-step walk through of how our university's team created a solar home.

52. Space Society ~ The Iowa State Space Society will be displaying their rockets and telescopes and handing out information.

53. SSLA ~Student Society of Landscape Architecture~ From Central Park to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Come find out what Landscape Architecture is, and what we're all about!

55. Students 2 Students/Student Health Advisory Committee ~ Stop by, answer a question and win a prize with Spinner Wheel of Heath Trivia!

56. Taekwondo ~Bash-for-Cash and Demo~ The chance to take a sledge hammer to something and rid some stress. $1 for 3 blows or $3 for unlimited blows for 1 minute. Then watch us demonstrate our Martial Arts while you relax.

57. Tau Beta Pi ~Tau Beta Pi Catapult Competition~ Ready, get set, build! High school students from around the state are invited to build the best egg catapults and test it.

58. Team PrISUm ~Solar Car Garage Tours~ Team PrISUm is holding tours of our garage, which currently includes 3 solar cars. We will discuss our past cars, the future of our project, and our use of alternative energy.

59. The Rock ~ I Will Listen! Shrinks are expensive, friends come and go and family doesn’t mean what it used to.

60. Undergraduate Microbiology Club ~Micro In Action: Homemade Pop and Walk in microbe~ Come see microbiology in action. There will be a microbiology club open house. Tour our giant microbe and sample homemade soda pop.

61. VEISHEA History Expo ~ The VEISHEA History Expo showcases VEISHEA history throughout the years and it will be located on the main floor of Beardshear hall.
